The application system at Dixon Wilson was personable and I could already predict that I would be more than just another employee.
I joined DW in 2009 after graduating from Bristol University with a BSc in Economics. I already knew that I wanted to start my career in accountancy; the ACA qualification is one of the leading professional qualifications which will open many doors to me as my career progresses.

I applied to both large and smaller firms decided almost immediately that I would reap the benefits of working for a smaller firm such as Dixon Wilson. The application system was personable and I could already predict that I would be more than just another employee. I am presented with a wide variety of work from tax through to audit which will enable me to make an educated choice as to whether or not to specialise later on in my career. The size of the firm means that I will also be able to shoulder real responsibility very early on.

The challenge and work load presented by the ACA should not be underestimated; however the support network operated by the firm is second to none and allows me to achieve an acceptable work/life balance.
