Philippa Turner Dixon Wilson's unique client base means that work is very varied and there is always something new to learn. |
| After graduating in 2007 with a degree in European History and French, I was sure of only two criteria for my future career. I wished to live abroad and further indulge my love of exploring new cultures, while at the same time finding employment that would give me a solid professional training, allowing me to develop a broad range of valuable skills that could create all manner of opportunities in the future. Working at Dixon Wilson in Paris has more than satisfied both of these requirements. Although the prospect of three years of training abroad was somewhat daunting, with regard to the potential workload as well as the commitment required, the experience has so far proved to be highly enjoyable. The unique client base means that work is very varied and there is always something new to learn. I have, in fact, found the constant progression, both in terms of development in the office and through the exams, to be highly motivating. My friendly and helpful colleagues are all very supportive of the demands of frequent travel to the UK and the course material itself is stimulating. Furthermore, the benefits of enjoying the Parisian style of life whilst still being able to regularly visit family and friends are immeasurable. |
