Dixon Wilson Manager Tops Institute of Taxation Exam

Thursday 19 February 2009

Ben Grist, of City of London based accountants Dixon Wilson, has received the top award for his performance in The Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams, beating 1,037 other candidates to win the
honour.

Organised by the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the CTA exams are seen as a ‘gold standard’ for tax professionals, including accountants and lawyers.

Grist was awarded “The Institute Medal for the candidate with the best overall performance across all four papers” by the Chartered Institute of Taxation as well as being jointly awarded the “CCH
Prize for the candidate with the second highest total marks”, another testament to the consistency of his work.

Comments David Nelson, Senior Partner, of Dixon Wilson: “This is a hugely impressive achievement for Ben and marks him out as one of the most talented young tax advisers within his peer group.”
“Not only is this a reflection of Ben’s dedication and hard work but it is also an excellent endorsement of Dixon Wilson’s training programme and working environment which allows individuals to really thrive.”
