Ben Grist, of City of London based accountants Dixon Wilson, has received the top award for his performance in The Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams, beating 1,037 other candidates to win the
honour.
Organised by the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the CTA exams are seen as a ‘gold standard’ for tax professionals, including accountants and lawyers.
Grist was awarded “The Institute Medal for the candidate with the best overall performance across all four papers” by the Chartered Institute of Taxation as well as being jointly awarded the “CCH
Prize for the candidate with the second highest total marks”, another testament to the consistency of his work.
