| These interests remain at the heart of Mark’s work, but he also acts as audit partner for a number of corporate groups, with interests in the UK, Cuba, Spain and the US and Canada. Mark also now advises on Anglo-French tax matters and cross border estates. This element of work involves regular working from our Paris office. Mark enjoys the diversity of challenging work which Dixon Wilson’s clients provide. It is the ability to develop one’s own career and advise clients on an individual basis with the support of a long established firm which is rare these days. In recent years, Mark was involved in a landmark successful case involving the availability of business property relief on a stately home open to the public. Mark is a member of STEP and the Tax and Audit faculties of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. In conjunction with the firm’s Paris office, he contributes articles on UK taxes to the publications of the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. |
