Since I joined Dixon Wilson, there have been enormous developments, from computerisation and the rise of the Internet, as well as technical changes to accounting, auditing and taxation regulation. |

| The firm has embraced these changes to ensure that we continue to offer the high levels of service which our clients rightly expect. And at the heart of all these changes has been the commitment to putting out clients’ needs first. I joined Dixon Wilson in 1970, and have been a partner since 1978. In that time I have built up a wealth of experience in helping all manner of clients (from our Paris office for six years) with a wide range of issues. Although at Dixon Wilson we are not compartmentalised, I have built up a particular expertise in helping wealthy private clients, their commercial interests and charitable organisations. One of the reasons why we attract so many clients from this field, is that as a firm, we are aware of the importance that is placed on confidentiality and discretion as part of the service that we provide to them. I look after clients from many different backgrounds and with varying business or private wealth interests. I am often called in to help give strategic advice on top of all the ordinary services one would expect from a private client accountant, which include all matters of tax compliance such as tax returns, record keeping and of course preparation of accounts where needed.
